What we'll cover in the 9 weeks
Nutrition Overview and Energy
We’ll start out with an overview of vegan nutrition for kids. I’ll cove which nutrients are harder to get from a vegan diet, and which ones are easy so you don’t need to worry about them.
Then we’ll dive in into the most important nutrient for vegan kids - energy. I’ll teach you how to super charge their food so it’s packed full of energy to get them through the day.
In week 3 we get the big one out of the way and talk all things iron. I’ll teach you how to boost your kids’ food so it’s absolutely packed with iron. And there won’t be a spinach leaf in sight!
Although it gets far less attention than the other nutrients, zinc is actually harder to get from a vegan diet. So this week, I'll teach you all my hacks to make sure your kids are getting this super-important nutrient.
I’ll give you my favourite foods and ingredients to make sure your kids have enough calcium for super strong bones. And if you’re soy free, i’ve got you too!
Nutrient Consolidation Week
We spend a week consolidating the 4 essential nutrients, and make sure you're feeling 100% confident about your kids' food before we move onto expanding their diet.
We talk all things veggies. I’ll give you the plan I used to take my son from veggie hater to broccoli lover.
Wholegrains (wk 8) and Legumes (wk 9)
Move over spirulina, wholegrains and legumes are the true superfoods of the vegan diet. I’ll teach you how to increase your kids’ intake of these amazing foods.
Final Wrap Up
Our final week is a chance for you to practice everything you've learnt with my full support.

I'm super busy, will I need to make lots of foods from scratch?
No, I'm a super busy mum too, so I totally get the no time thing! While some of the boost suggestions involve changing up or trying new recipes, I also have heaps of tips to add to existing food, and lists of supermarket foods for each ingredient.
Do you help with nutrition deficiencies?
Nutrition deficiencies are complex. As a nutritionist, I can help you to improve your child's intake of a nutrient, but you need to work with your GP for ongoing monitoring and determining individual supplementation levels.
Do you recommend supplements?
I recommend B12 and Omega 3 supplements for all kids. If your child's diet appears low in certain nutrients, then the weekly quizzes will recommend speaking to your GP to get tested for deficiencies. I do not recommend supplements without speaking to your GP.
Does my location matter?
No. The weekly lessons are prerecorded, so you'll be able to watch them at anytime.
